If you put huge video file on here, good luck! I would not use my home computer to host files like this. In that case, the transfer speeds for files you host will be limited to the upload speeds your ISP imposes on your internet account. Upon installing and registering it, it appears to be a self-hosted web service on your home computer that exposes it to everybody on the entire internet. At first blush reading the above brief explanation, my interpretation of what this is was that it's sort of like your own Dropbox on a server somewhere.
